In attendance at Josie's party was:
Papa Doug & Mama Carole
Grandpa & Grandma Mike
Granny Glodyne
Nana Louise
Uncle Rick, Aunt Michelle, Riley & Kayla
Uncle Nathan & Aunt Emily
Uncle Bobbie & Aunt Sandy
Little Bobbie & Rachel
Dawnna, Nathan & Austin
Jackie
Becky & Colby
"Uncle" Chris & Katie
Cindy
Allyson, Madelyne & MacKenzie
Tony & Christie Walker (came early)

We had pizza & french fries for dinner.
She made out like a bandit on all her presents. But Mommy is excited because she didn't get that much clothing, so Mommy finally gets to go buy her some clothes.
Here are just some random photos of her opening presents. Photos were take by Katie so I could help Josie. Josie got really good at ripping open the paper and then the bags, she just got to where she would just turn it over and dump it.
(fishing pole from Daddy)

Granny made her a dress, matching purse and hair bows. It is really cute!!!

Some random photos of the kids with their cupcakes.

And then, Riley told me before Nathan & Austing got there. "Aunt Shannon if you have another baby, please, please, please have a boy!" He tells me this all the time cause he's outnumbered by the girls.

And then there is Little Mr. Colby. Riley, soon enough you'll have another little boy to play with.

It's Party Time- Part 1

I think I'll do this in two posts. This post I will show off my decorations!!! They came together so good. And Cindy did an awesome job on the cake.
I started decorating on Saturday and finished up about 1 hour before the party started. Dad & Mom took Josie to church and kept her all afternoon. Thank you Mom!!! That helped tremendously to getting things done.
Anyway, here we go!!!
I made the "Happy Birthday" sign with the scrap kit from Shabby Miss Jenn Designs that the invitations were made out of. I bought a cone shape green foam from Hobby Lobby and filled it with DumDum suckers to make a sucker tree. I decorated some cupcakes with just icing and placed them in some flower Wilton wrappers on top of a white flower shape melamine dinner plates on top of a bright orange flower pot turned upside down. The pink and orange tubs I bought in the Dollar section at Target an filled them with ice and placed the single serve ice cream cups in them.

The table decorations were a flower mat I bought on clearance at Target along with some sandbuckets from the dollar bin at Target and for the kids to take home with them. I filled it with floral foam and curly ribbon that I curled and stuffed on top. Along with a cupcake paper topper made from the same kit from Shabby Miss Jenn Designs that I printed out at home and cut out and placed on a skewer in the floral foam. We then used a Martha Stewart cupcake punch to make confetti out of the orange and pink scrap paper I had laying around.

I bought these paper lanterns at Hobby Lobby on clearance and quite actually wanted to leave them up. They were too cute and just added that special touch to the room. Josie thought they were balls at first and insisted on kicking, throwing and hitting them. Then once we hung them up, she though they were balloons.

We had a fill your bag candy jar. That everyone made a huge deal about not taking the candy! Just take the candy, people, that's what it's for!!!!
It turned out really cute. I made labels for them and the drinks on the computer, cut them out and tied them on with ribbon that coordinated that I found at Hobby Lobby.
The cupcakes in the window, I found at Michael's in the dollar bin, they didn't match the color theme. So I turned them over and decorated with Martha Stewart glue & Glitter. Other than the glitter mess, they turned out cute.

I let the kids decorate their own cupcakes after we were done eating. We had icing that was orange, blue, pink, purple and green. We poured the sprinkles out into the cupcake wrappers for the kids to easily grab hold of.

And then last but certainly not least, is this awesome cake that my cousin Cindy made. It matched the colors perfectly. Thank you Cindy!!!

Fair Time!!!

Michelle took Josie to the fair with them on Wednesday night and Mike & I met her down there. Michelle wanted to take Josie for a ride on the tractor in the parade. After two laps around the fair, she didn't want to get off of it.
She rode on the back with Michelle, Riley, Griffin (Stevens) and his brother, while Kayla rode up front with Rick.

After seeing the horses and her not being interested we went to get something to eat. She wanted french fries, so we sat on the bench and ate those. She was a little on the cranky side, hopefully next year she will have more fun. This years weather has been unbearable.
We then went up to the Carnival area after going through the show booths. She kept wanting to ride the rides and was upset when we told her no.

Daddy played darts and won her two doggies. She got a blue one and a yellow one.

Then Josie played "Pick a Duck" and she won a pink pig.

All in all, I think she had fun.

Seriously!!!2!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe that we will be celebrating Josie's 2nd Birthday this Sunday with family & friends. I have been planning her party for a very long time but...... now the time is here. I think I have everything ready but I can't believe that it is actually that time. I'm just praying for no rain and no humidity! Hopefully I will have time to post pic's next week.
On to what she's been up to. Michelle called me on Tuesday and the terd had climbed out of the pack-n-play that she takes her naps in and was sitting on Michelle's bed. Mom thinks it's hilarious how wild she's getting!
We have definately hit the terrible 2's. She is not listening to me at all until I get hateful with her. Although the counting thing is working still. I think it's about out the window though cause she smiles at you until you get to "two" then does what she is suppose to.
She is getting really bad on hitting, smacking and pinching. I don't know what to do with her. I spank her but for the most part it doesn't matter. And she will tell you "I hit". Aargh!!!
She will not stay out of the fridge or the freezer. She is constantly pulling on those wanting "ham" and "urkey", meaning her lunchables that are in the crisper. And if you give in and give her one, she doesn't eat it, she just wants to get it out.
We took her to the fair, Wednesday evening. She rode out with Aunt 'Chelle so she could ride Papa Doug's tractor in the parade with the kids. We got there in time to get photos. She didn't want to get off of it.
We then took her to go see the animals. I guess horses are okay if they are on the inside of a fence and your driving in a car. Cause we took her in the horse barn and she was nervous but talking about them. Then we walked up to one pen that the horse was walking around in, and it walked over to the gate to us and she freaked! Enough of those! She actually just enjoyed walking around the carnival area. She kept telling us "I ride". I think next year we'll go out and maybe ride a few.
Well I think that catches us up. But here are some scrap pages I have done this week. Been a busy little beaver and I'm caught up to April now.

A week ago Saturday (17th), Josie was being really quiet while I was in the shower. Daddy was home and I didn't hear him with her either. So I yelled for Daddy to check and see what Josie was doing. He walked into the closet and immediately started laughing. She had one of her Snap n Style dolls, and the diaper cream. She told Daddy that the baby had pooped and needed her butt changed. Thankfully she didn't get any in the dolls crazy hair. So now the diaper cream is another item that is put up high on a shelf. I swear everything is going to be put up high before too much longer!
Miss Madelyne has handed down some jammies to Josie. This particular night I got out a nightgown to see if she could fit in it yet. Not knowing how excited she was going to get because it had a princess on it. After we put it on her, once she calmed down, she was running around the house yelling "inderella, inderella". I guess I didn't realize how much she was beginning to get into the "princesses".

I have been working on Josie's birthday party stuff and now we are down to the wire. I bought a kit from Shabby Miss Jenn Designs to create about everything for her party. The invitations were made from the paper. The cupcake centerpieces and the Birthday banner.
So Friday evening, I started assembling her Birthday banner while she was getting ready for bed. She decided she wanted to help me, cause it was for "her birfday party". So I put her up on the table to help me. I can't wait until the day we set the party up, this girl is really getting into her "birfday party".
She has been a complete stinkpot lately on potty training. She seems to have lost all interest in it. She still tells you when she pees or poops but you can't get her to go to the toilet. She had even gotten to the point that she was crying when I would put her on the toilet. So Sunday morning, I broke out the big girl panties. She did pretty good then. We only had 3 accidents. But now my dilemma is getting everyone else to do the same with the possible messes ahead. But she sure was proud of the big girl panties and didn't want to put a pull up on to take a nap.
I don't want to force her but if she knows the difference between a pull up and a diaper and can tell you when she goes, I don't know what else to do, but force her. Plus she looked too cute in the panties!!!
